RLX

RLX is the paint protection film we fit at Newtech, and we offer six options between 29 and 399 KWD, three of them available now. The film is a clear polyurethane layer bonded to the paint, absorbing stone chips and scratches instead of the paint itself, and the range moves from part to whole: half bonnet and full bonnet protection at 8.5 mil with a ten year warranty, full body protection at the same thickness, a thinner 4 mil film made for the windscreen, a three stage polish that corrects the paint before protection, and a complete package combining full body film with window tint, nano coating and a 4K dash cam. The difference between the two thicknesses is placement, not quality: thinner for glass, thicker for bodywork. These are workshop services booked by appointment, not shipped in a box, taking from half a day for a bonnet to several days for a full car.

Why the windscreen first?

Because a single stone chip can cost you a full windscreen replacement, and a 4 mil film absorbs it. It is the cheapest item in the protection list and the one that returns the most.

Polish before protection?

Always. The polish corrects existing scratches, then the protection preserves the corrected surface. The reverse order seals the defects under the film.

The work needs an appointment at the showroom, and the time varies with the area covered.
