An electric car in Kuwait needs two decisions: a home charger with the right output, and an adapter that matches your car's socket. We stock nine items between 40 and 390 KWD covering both. For adapters, the A2Z range solves the American import problem specifically: Type 2 to NACS for Tesla, Type 2 to Type 1 J1772 rated at 32 amps, CCS2 to CCS1 at 200 kW for fast charging, and a Cybertruck adapter that supports both AC and DC. The rule: choose home charger output based on what your car's onboard charger accepts, not on the highest number. Most electric cars here are American or Gulf imports, and the difference is the socket rather than the car.

Which adapter fits my car?

American import Teslas have a NACS port, with a Type 2 adapter for AC charging and another for fast charging. Other American cars (Ford, Rivian, Lucid) have J1772 or CCS1 and use their own adapter. Send us the model and we will identify it.

Does an adapter slow charging down?

No. Our adapters support more power than most cars request, so you get the fastest speed the station can deliver to your car.

How do I charge at home?

With an ABB Terra AC unit mounted on the wall and wired to the electrical panel, 7.4 kW for normal homes or 22 kW where the panel allows. We offer a free site visit to price the work before installation.
